MoneySights is a hosted service. When you create an account, the email address you sign up with and the data you enter — transactions, goals, budgets and any statements you upload — are stored in the service's database so the app can show your cashflow.
Statement files are processed on the service's own server to extract transactions; they are not sent to a third-party AI or OCR provider. You can review and correct anything that was extracted before it is used.
You can export your data as CSV, or delete your account and its data, at any time from inside the app. MoneySights does not sell your data. General information, not financial advice — see the Terms for the full disclaimer.
